For nearly four decades, Richard Cairns' professional life has embraced the idea that quality people are the essential asset to quality of organisational performance.

His 27 year professional career as a soldier included combat service in the Vietnam War, command of a multi-national UN peacekeeping station in the Middle East and exchange service with allied armies. These experiences forged an acute appreciation for a valued professional and organisational ethos.
